FASHION - HAIR - MARLEY HAIR

A few months ago, I had an idea which was to get a crotchet hairstyle; the only problem was I wasn't sure which one to get. So I took a trip to a beauty supply store nearby my house and I found a hairstyle called crotchet braid. (which I've done before) I went home, did some research and chose a style for my braided hair known as Marley Twists. I don't know how to braid my own hair so I had to get my older sister (she's the real MVP) to braid it for me. After braiding it took me about 2 days (long breaks in between) to crotchet my own hair. Crocheting was really easy (the second time) for me. The first time I did it myself, I was annoyed by the fact that I chose to try out this new hairstyle and I decided I would never do it again.

Doing my research before getting my hair done was a big time saver this time. I knew what to expect and I didn't overtly stress myself by forcing myself to finish it before getting up. Doing that would be asking for aches and pains the f…

I believe I chose this pseudonym as a reminder that I am just a relevant detail in God's fingerprint.

I was raised in Nigeria, West Africa, until I was 10 turning 11. At 20, looking back at my country is looking back at my childhood; a past I will always attempt to reconnect with in order to feel whole. 

I moved to the United States of America at the age of 11. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was so excited because I would get to live and grow up with "Oyinbo" people. The day I and my family went to the airport, we had a gathering in my home, where loved ones, family and friends came over to be with me and my family one last time.
